Carriage Realty is proud to sponsor the annual benefit for the Stillwater Police Association! This special event will be held from 7-10 PM on Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Oak Glen Golf Course and Banquet Center, 1599 McKusick Road N. in Stillwater.
This year’s lineup includes Ron Block (Grammy award winning banjo player with Alison Krause and Union Station), Clay Hess (Grammy award winning guitar player for Ricky Skaggs), the popular local bluegrass band the Pale Ales, and Tony Andreason & Friends (your local St. Paul legend from the Trashmen, who recorded “The Bird is the Word” and many other top hits from the 1960’s)!
Clay Hess and Ron Block will be offering guitar and banjo workshops for $50 each or $75 for both. Contact Clay at 740-331-0802 to sign up for a workshop.
Money raised at the benefit is used towards additional police training and equipment, assisting families of the police and fire departments who have lost someone in the act of service, as well as helping other families in need in the community.
Advance tickets are $15 and $20 at the door. Children 12 and under are free. There will be a silent auction, appetizers, and a cash bar.
Join us for a fun evening of bluegrass music! We hope to see you there!
If you’re unable to attend the event, but would still like to support the Stillwater Police Association, contact Dale Gruber at 612-867-5294.
